Here are my top 3 foundational supplements everybody should consider taking, if adding symptom-free years to your life sounds good to you!
I’ve experimented with supplements SO much over the years and these are the ones I’d never want to be without.
For some reason I forgot to mention Magnesium Glycinate as an extra one, which is a daily supplement for me for sure, great at calming the nerves and supporting sleep.
It can be a lot, so please know it’s ok to just do 1 or 2 and see how it goes, or depending on your situation just pick 1 to start with and know you’re supporting your body and your body is always working for you!
You can find more information about all the supplements mentioned on the Recommendations page.
Stacking functions refers to things in your life or in your garden or wherever having multiple functions, and when it comes to herbal supplements, there are multiple advantages to taking each one.
For example, you’ll be happy to know too that in addition to being such a viral and bacterial killer, nettle leaf contains lots of silica so it’s also great support for your hair and skin!
Ashwagandha is awesome for hair too since any time we’re supporting our adrenals, we’re caring for our hair. In fact, Medical Medium has said the true cause of Alopecia is a missing hormone from the complex blends of adrenaline our bodies produce. Ashwagandha can help restore a bit of that hormone and therefore help your hair grow back!
Although that’s a little off topic, and I’ll talk more on self-care for skin and hair another time, I felt called to throw it in here since so many women have experienced thinning hair, myself included, or even hair falling out in clumps as in the case of Alopecia.
Remember to start small when introducing a new supplement and see you how you do.
Keeping a small notebook or journal in the kitchen to keep a list of what you’re consuming is a great idea so you remember your dosages and how you feel as you get going and soon enough you’ll find what resonates and works best for you.
Also, when I mentioned a dropper full in the video, I meant the amount of liquid the dropper will hold, and in some cases it only looks about half full!
You can also take tinctures with a couple ounces or so of juice instead of water if that helps.
And of course the Lomatium tincture I just added in for seasonal support right now to confuse you even more. ?
